
Cecil Lee Goodman, 81, of New Palestine, IN, passed away December 16, 2014 in Greenfield, IN. He is survived by his wife, Nancy I. Goodman of New Palestine, IN and his 6 children, William Goodman (Nancy) of Plant City, FL, Debbie Gilbert (Jim) of Okeechobee, FL, Vicky Myer (Harold) of Morristown, IN, Rick Goodman (Karen) of Waverly, OH, Jonathan Goodman (Shannon Crawford) of Eddyville, KY, and Susanna Cooper (Harold) of New Palestine, IN. He also leaves behind a sister, Faustine Seifert (Bernie) of New Palestine, IN along with 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arter Goodman, and Edna Geary Land, 2 siblings, Ed Goodman, and Veda Goodman, his first wife, Rose Ann Goodman, granddaughter Tammie Ellison and great granddaughter Kailey Goodman.
Cecil retired from Western Electric many years ago and then went on to become a Pastor and Evangelist. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 10701 E. 56th Street Indianapolis, IN 46235, and a visitation on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery after the service. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
